weaving, with wife Edith born 24.12.1901 and son Frank G born 14.5.1926 scholar.

Worked as chief engineer for James Kenyon and Son, Bolton/ Bury.

Frank Greenhalgh, 71, widower, retired engineer of 52 Applegarth A venue, son of Frank Greenhalgh

deceased cloth inspector, married (2) at Highweek Parish Church Newton Abbot S Devon 26.10.1968

to Doris Maude Cowan (nee Cocks), housewife of 54 Applegarth Avenue, daughter of William Henry

Cocks deceased, farmer. Witnesses F G Greenhalgh (son of F Greenhalg) and John H Cocks (brother

of Doris Cowan).

Visited in Devon by his younger sister Annie.

Frank Greenhalgh died in 1980 aged 83 in Paignton Devon.

A very Rare Original WW1 British 1st Pattern "Hypo" Gas Hood in absolutely fantastic condition! Made from blue grey flannel cloth face mask with rectangle eye lense which has cracked and worn. The hood has fold marks and is dirty and stained.These hoods were first introduced in June 1915 but were only manufactured until September 1915 when the design was changed to the still rare but more commonly seen gas hood.
